Integration of occupancy based thermostat with Door contacts or RFID Locking/When placed on a network and integrated with door contacts or locking devices a higher energy savings can be realized without any guest comfort concerns/ On an average, 30% - 40% energy cost savings per room per year. All integrations reside on a single network providing additional savings.
Master and Entry Lighting controls

These may be added to the network to comply with ASHRAE and IECC Building standards in many states and Title 24 requirements in California/Automatically turning off lighting after a guest leaves the room saves energy costs as well as provides safety by automatically turning lights on when a guest enters the room.

The door locks are being networked through the Guest Room and/or Energy Management systems at room level / The necessary network infrastructure to network door locks is therefore virtualized, resulting in significant CAPEX savings and making online door locks much easier / cheaper to deploy in new construction and retrofit. all benefits equal the generic benefits of online door locks specific to the door lock vendor, plus the benefits of being directly integrated to the guest room / energy management system such as real time welcome scenes, shorter exit scenes with more efficient energy management, etc...
