Our project manager, Bridget, communicated very poorly with both our team and Agilysys team, and two different products were largely nonfunctional when first installed. The installations were extremely stressful for everyone in three departments. In Guest Services, we created a full-time position to manage installation issues for the first three weeks, and I know that Food and Beverage put a lot of time and effort into troubleshooting as well. Overall, I'd say the product is good enough that the process will be worth it in the end, but two different botched installations were extremely stressful and led to an unquantifiable amount of lost revenue.

The success of the Agilysys we see now in 2025, is the result of years of planning and listening to customer’s feedback that resulted in great and continuously improved customers. Our experience have lead us to believe that Agilysys could spend more time/better resources when it comes to Project Management as they are the Liason between Agilysys and our properties. If we are not understood, migrations, conversions or even new projects are set up to have bigger challenges when going live that they would if the planning phase would take a little more time and interest on each specific property.

Communication amongst the AGYS departments in terms of development and support. QA testing can also be much improved, as we have been told several times that something is fixed, when it is, in fact, not.
