We have had quite a few issues with our credit card processing since we switched to emv technology. In the past month we have had our CC readers lose contact with Jonas Chorum 4 times. Usually we can call and a tech resets the interface and it usually fixes the problem. It is just an inconvenience as this usually take 10-20 minutes depending on the tech. which means our CC machines are down and unusable during that time.

Love Chorum! Simple to use and to learn. Rarely have to make calls to support because system is not only user-friendly but the release notes and help pages are great! My staff loves our PMS.

We pay $75.00 per month for the back-up/off-line device. I honestly don't believe it has ever worked during an outage. At one time it was replaced and we received a credit. I don't believe the new device functions either. I have reached out to Chorum about this in the past and mentioned it in surveys but it hasn't been addressed. We're paying for a monthly service we do not/cannot use.

Our personal issue dealt with restrictions not carrying over to a specific 3rd party site. Maybe if other properties experience this as well starting a 3 way call with 3rd party site, Jonas Chroum staff, and hotel staff. This is ultimately what resolved our issue personally.
